Marie-Pierre Speltz

Marie-Pierre is born in Luxembourg and studied "Arts Plastiques" in Strasbourg. She lives and works in her atelier in Bergem. Marie-Pierre discovered her passion for engraving by following courses at "Atelier Empreinte", where she explored different techniques. Her favourite is drypoint : Scratching, sanding, sticking with an etching needle or any tool that permits to carve lines or roughen surfaces that retain the ink. As an active member of "Atelier Empreinte" since 2007, she participates regularly at exhibitions and events organized by this association of printers.
